Finding the best mount for your weapon light can be tricky. Fixed mounts may work with one configuration, but don’t allow flexibility as you modify your rifle setup. It is also challenging to know whether a particular fixed mount will work with your setup without purchasing it first.
Our Pivot Adapter and accompanying mounts allow you to find your ideal light position, and adapt to future changes down the road.
The adapter mounts to any Scout pattern light, allowing you to upgrade your favorite light with pivot functionality.
The adapter is ambidextrous and can be mounted in several different orientations depending on your needs. A number of viable positions are provided below:

Compatibility
Our adapter is compatible with SureFire M-LOK and Picatinny Pro mounts, provided you use the Hinge Screw that comes with our adapter.
Third party pro mounts designed for SureFire light bodies are also compatible with our adapter.
IMPORTANT: The Meteorite Concepts M-LOK Pivot Mount and Picatinny Pivot Mount work only with our Pivot Adapter. These mounts are NOT compatible with the SureFire Pro light bodies due to differences in hardware.
The Pivot Adapter will fit any light that follows a standard scout pattern footprint. This footprint can look slightly different depending on who designed the light body, but the common factor is two M4 screw holes placed 0.85in apart.
