Finding the best mount for your weapon light can be tricky. Fixed mounts may work with one configuration, but don’t allow flexibility as you modify your rifle setup. It is also challenging to know whether a particular fixed mount will work with your setup without purchasing it first.
Our Pivot Adapter and accompanying mounts allow you to find your ideal light position, and adapt to future changes down the road.
The adapter mounts to any Scout pattern light, allowing you to upgrade your favorite light with pivot functionality.
The adapter is ambidextrous and can be mounted in several different orientations depending on your needs. A number of viable positions are provided below:
I wanted to get a weapon light as high and close to a laser as possible for better ergonomics with the tail cap. No other mount I tried put the light in the correct place, but the adjustablblity the pivot adapter provided puts the light in the perfect spot!
I initially was going to buy a OVERBORE mount, but then saw a lot more post about this light mount, and of course it being priced friendly, installed it , and instantly fell in love super sturdy!🐎🐎
Awesome for fitting a light under a LAM
The pivot is very versatile and can adapt to just about any light body so far. I’ve used Surefire, cloud defensive, streamlight etc. I can tuck it in close to the hand guard or change how far it comes out to adapt for an IR devise. Once it’s locked in, it will not move unless you adjust it. And it’s adaptable in the sense that I can have it on left or right of my firearm. Highly recommend it to anyone.
